Welcome To Kuiken For Congress

Jim Kuiken

Jim Kuiken was born in Boise, Idaho. He is a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, active and reserve. Sergeant Major (ret.) Kuiken is a highly decorated combat veteran, having served during multiple wars and campaigns, receiving the Legion of Merit and Purple Heart.

Jim’s civilian job while in the Marine Corps was as a Border Patrol Agent on the front lines of our Southern border. He went on to serve as a special agent fighting gangs, organized crime, and international terrorism in Los Angeles. While in the Dept. of Homeland Security he was assigned to become their Attaché and Country Director for Iraq. Retiring from that job he became Vice President at a mid-sized IT corporation, and later started his own small business, where he served as President and CEO of the company. He came to South Texas in 1989, met and fell in love with his wife of 22 years, Celia Farias from San Benito, and made Texas his home. They have three grown children; Mike, Christy, and Tony.

“We cannot stand on the sidelines and watch our country be destroyed. Out of control spending, overwhelming debt and a massive overreach by the federal government is choking businesses and smothering our individual freedoms. Support my campaign and help take our South Texas values to the US House of Representatives.”
